A brief History...
In 1542,the european Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo landed for the first time at California precisely at San Diego.
In 1840 ,the American invasion by the east side of the California started.
June 14th , six years later ,a small american group took Sonoma's garrison and
the California became a republic. This republic died 23 days after. But the flag is still the same.
James Wilson Marshall, discovered the first gold nugget at Coloma on the east side of Sacramento. The gold fever started around the world in 1849. San Diego became the front door of all the fourtyniners running throught the California to find gold. Because of that, San Diego became the metropolis of California.
In two years the population got three times bigger and reached 93000 persons.
From 1850 the gold production declined to give place to farming.The first transcontinentale railway (builtby over 30 000 chineese and done in 1869) really helped the new state to grow up proudly.
From 1880, Los Angeles grew up quikly with farming operations and the discovery of petroleum fields in 1890.

In 1866 , California's constitution is talking about free school program for the high school . They did it.The University of California , UC is a big part of school in this state.Stanford University attratcs seekers coming from over all the world.Berkeley 's library counts around 6,4 miliions books.
The Young Memorial, San Francisco,California Palace of the legion of honor , The Museum of modern Art and the Museum of Arts are some of the richest cultural patrimony.

From August to September there's a lot of Because of the percentage of humidity in the air that is about 65 .During fall season, desert's winds blow on Santa Ana from 55 to 80 km/h. In the desert, the temperature reaches 38 degree celcius. Those winds bring sand helping burning forest. Like we had this year amazing forest fire. That's why people are more stress than the rest of the year.
The best time for a visit is during spring time. The temperature is fresher and more confortable.
